Starting September 1, let's get active for 30 minutes for 30 days!
A message from the FNHA Wellness Team, Office of the Chief Medical Officer
If you're an Indigenous person living in BC, you're invited to Join our 30x30 Active Challenge for the month of September! For this wellness challenge, all you need to do is commit to 30 minutes of activity for the 30 days of September. This is a great opportunity for you to get together with your online community and/or your “bubble" to get active for 30 minutes daily and share about it. You can encourage and be encouraged by your friends, family, community, and online community – making getting into an exercise habit a little more fun!
Last year, we held the first 30x30 Active Challenge and it was a big success. Two thousand, nine hundred and twelve people registered, and they shared hundreds of photos and posts using the hashtags we provided: #FNHAWellness, #30x30ActiveChallengeFNHA, and #BeActiveFNHA. This year, we hope to have even more people join our challenge and share their experiences with us!
This year, we will continue to share helpful tips and information, as well as provide opportunities to enter a draw for a prize. Watch our social media accounts for more information.
