The Network: Towards Unity for Health (TUFH) with the Rural Coordination Centre of BC and BC Patient Safety Quality Council will be hosting the 39th global TUFH 2022 conference from Aug. 16–19 in Vancouver, British Columbia.
The theme of the conference is Moving Forward Together: Unity for Health for All. The subthemes are Building Better Together, Harmony for a Healthy World, Social Responsibility: Healthcare Conducted Where People and Place Matter, and Learning with Indigenous Peoples Towards Advancing Equity & Wellbeing.
As one of the partners, the FNHA is participating in the planning, development and delivery of the conference with a special focus on including Indigenous content.
The FNHA is also sponsoring Indigenous People who would like to attend the conference. The sponsorship covers the registration fee for the conference days: Aug. 16, 17, 18 and 19, 2022 (includes pre-conference).
Any Indigenous person can apply for sponsorship (Google account required). The sponsorships will be available and prioritized as follows:
- Indigenous People living in British Columbia, Canada
- Indigenous People living in Canada
- Indigenous/Aboriginal People living in other countries (defined as the first inhabitants of these countries)
The benefits of attending the TUFH 2022 conference include engaging in keynote sessions, TUFH documentaries, TUFH talks, workshops, and oral presentations. There will also be an opportunity to participate in networking sessions on specific topics and exploring new professional relationships.
