The FNHA's Environmental Public Health Services team is hosting an upcoming Webinar, Indigenous Climate Health Action: How to Adapt, Plan and Inspire. The FNHA's Climate Change and Health Specialist Paivi Abernethy will be presenting this topic, followed by a Q+A session.
Climate change affects physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health in many ways. In this webinar we will discuss various climate change impacts on health within your region and share stories of projects that are working to reduce these impacts. We will also share information on the FNHA's Indigenous Climate Health Action Program (ICHAP), including how to apply for ICHAP funds.
ICHAP aims to support communities to strengthen their climate health resilience. ICHAP funds community-driven projects that build on existing community strengths and support community members to learn new skills that improve climate health and wellness.
Join us to learn more about climate health and how your community can improve it.
